In order to enhancement of treatment quality and improvement of patients' satisfaction in the whole province, faculties of dentistry and medicine copperate, under supervision of Prof. Barzigar, to attract assistants of jaw and facial surgery.

In this respect, Dr. Ali Shirani (specialized oral and maxillofacial surgeon) and Dr. Ali Rezvani (rhinoplasty specialist) of Ministry of Health and Medical Educations as well as the president of dentistry faculty and members of the scientific board visited equipments of Velayat Hospital on Tuesday, June 16^th, 2015.

Dr. Shirani stated that although Gilan Medical University has a long history, no action was taken to date to attract specialized assistant of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

At last, all visiting members were pleased with available equipment and facilities, appreciated for previous efforts and promised to present results of this visit as soon as possible.
